THE CONTEST

A table is a place where close relatives meet. They share food
but above all, they share emotions, moods, memories, and plans for the
future. That is why we want to create a table that will provide space to talk
and that, we believe, requires unique dishes.
We expect outstanding designs that will change a regular meal into an
extraordinary moment.

JURY

The competition works will be judged by a jury consisted of representatives of the art world and advertising.

Karim Rashid

Undisputed star of international design with over 3000 completed projects. He is a versatile designer of luxury goods. He works with top worldwide brtands as Giorgio Armani, Prada, Kenzo, Samsung, Alessi, Coca Cola, Disney, Faby, Timex, Issey Miyake and Nike.

He was awarded honorary doctorates at the Ontario College of Art
and Design and Corcoran College. Museums permanently strive for his work and several of them can show off a permanent collection. Karim Rashid's works can be seen in 14 museums around the world, including MoMA in New York or Center Pompidou in Paris.

Jan Kochański

Graduate of the Faculty of Interior Design at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. He built his professional experience in the studio by world-renowned designer Karim Rashid. He is a winner of many national and international competitions. Among others he won the Grand Prix in the Mazda competition, and his brush design was honored with the Wallpaper Design Award 2014. He runs his own design studio specializing in furniture and home accessories projects.

Jan Kochański

Graduate of the Faculty of Interior Design at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. He built his professional experience in the studio by world-renowned designer Karim Rashid. Paweł Szymański

COB of Krosno Glass S.A. Previously, he was a member of the board, vice president and president of many strategic companies, such as: Icentis Capital, Ruch, Netia, Marvipol, CTL Logistics, PKN Orlen, Polkomtel, Unipetrol, Zakłady Azotowe Anwil, ACE EuropeanGroup and Orlen Deutschland. He held managerial positions in the largest domestic and regional concerns and investment banks in Warsaw and London. He has extensive experience in strategic and operational management, especially in the area of financeand enterprise cost management.

Mariusz Miękoś

Managing Partner at GREYWOLF GROUP, Managing Partner at Fastline Advertising CEO & founder Fastline Racing Academy. Experienced Strategy Creative and Managing Partner with a demonstrated history of working in the advertising and events industry. Skilled in Professional Marketing Management, Digital Strategy, Integrated Advertising and Art Direction. Racing driver - Polish Racing Champion of Polish Hour Race Championships in 2017 and 2018.

Mariusz Miękoś

Managing Partner at GREYWOLF GROUP, Managing Partner at Fastline Advertising CEO & founder Fastline Racing Academy. Experienced Strategy Creative and Managing Partner with a demonstrated history of working in the advertising and events industry. Skilled in Professional Marketing Management, Digital Strategy, Integrated Advertising and Art Direction. Racing driver - Polish Racing Champion of Polish Hour Race Championships in 2017 and 2018.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Krosno Glass Design Awards 2018 competition runs on the 7th of January 2019, 16:00 to 22th of March 2019, 23:59 and it is about creating the original work.

In the work evaluation, the following points will be consider:

- Compatibility with the theme of the competition
- Creativity and product innovation
- The ingenuity and originality of the subject's approach
- Sensitivity and aesthetic value of the project

In the competition can not be submitted works that have already been submitted or rewarded in other competitions.

Competition entries have to be submitted via the application form, detailed regulations available.
